Feed Back on ideas

I started my feedback by laying out my ideas to fellow peirces and asking them questions such as: What comes to mind? Does anything Stand out? Do you have any ideas yourself? This led to alot of helpful responses. I will list names and comments

Beth Suggested the idea of using the entire city as an exhibition space by creating some kind of tour which people would follow from one to the next. 'It doesn't need to be contained'

Rob and Tom
Suggesting the idea of creating a kind of system which people could use to exhibit their own pieces of work. Could I create some templates that would alow anyone to make their own. Rob highlighted the TDR Feeling food in the field as inspiration for the idea. A kind of giant publication book that people could leaf through in for example the trinity center. The only issue with this is cost and taking in the fact that not everyone has a printer at there disposal. It also begs the question whether I am just making another curator system which doesn't allow full autonomy for artist or designer.

Tom suggested looking wheat pasting and cheaper methods of distributing and to think about product range distribution when approaching this.

Erin& joe

Erin really liked this idea of a system to help people curate their own work she spoke alot about the 'white cube' 'That it isn't the be all and end all, commercial isnt all that' pointing me towards her friends Instagram called the white pube, this critiques commercial fine art. This led to joe showing me some Instagram he follows for curated graphic design, Made back then, design every day, Visuelle. These are a perfect example of how people are much more in control of the content that they distribute but it is all very similar and not much experimentation is happening within this area. Erin also showed me an exhibition he curated on ISThisit a website set up to help anybody curate their own exhibition in an online space. She also commented 'Having a space that is usable by anyone is interesting' after this conversation I got thinking about randomly generated content such as simplify that shit I wondered is it possible to code a website which could generate online exhibitions?

Elliot & Josh

Josh saw this idea as a possiblity for local councils to get involved offering the idea of putting the content on electric bill boards around the city.
