After exploring my idea of A exhibition in the form of a poster with other students, feedback and evaluation led me to look more into the approaches used to present work online and how this is being pushed in contemporary web design. The idea is informed strongly by the Fluxus spirit to question what is art and where we actually see art. Such as they used happenings to bring performance art out of the art institutions I will be looking at how the internet can be used for the same purpose. A platform which would allow for the democratization of an exhibition making it possible for anybody to curate there own body of work. This idea of the internet being a new platform of Fluxus is extremly intresting and something I want to explore further for my practical.
Isthisis? is a online exhibition platform showed to me by erin who runs shybairns isthisis was a platform which alowed her to curate a online exhibition. This is in a Fluxus spirit it is DIY its against the as erin called it 'white cube'.
Behance is a more well now platform for creatives to share their work it adopts a similar format throughout the website to create a easily well designed website to alow exposure of work. This Is also within Fluxus spirit althought we would never name it this, Its dissimnation of ideas could be argued otherwise.
